Worksheet description
Fourteen strips with sentences to be transformed using a negative or limiting adverbial.
He didn't say a word -> Not a word did he say
Instructions
Cut up the strips horizontally along the dotted lines. Students take it in turns to pick up a strip and read the left ('question') side and give the cue in brackets. Others have to transform the sentence starting with the cue.
