Worksheet description
Eighteen questions gapped for active or passive verb forms, and which can then be discussed by students.
E.g. How do you think your city will __________(change) over the next 10 years?
Useful for learners who are unfamiliar with non-living subjects of verbs. Includes answers
Instructions
Cut the sheet into strips and place them face down. Students take it in turns to take a strip and read or show it to the others, who have to decide on the correct verb form. The answer is on the right side of the strip and can be folded over. (Alternatively, students can do this collaboratively. In this case, they fold over the answer and decide together.)
After they have checked the answer to the grammar, they then give their responses to the question.
