Worksheet description
Twelve matching dominoes with sentences containing common reporting verbs: admit, confirm, encourage, persuade, claim, advise, convince, suggest, explain, complain, reassure, announce. (Revised, June, 2019)
Instructions
Cut up the dominoes and divide equally among students. One student lays a domino at random to start the activity.
Students must then add the previous or next domino to continue the chain.
It is important that they do this one domino at a time; trying to match all the dominoes at once is more difficult.
